Hoshiarpur- As per the guidelines of Health Department Punjab and Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Pawan Kumar Shagotra, a special campaign for pentavalent and other vaccinations for children will start from tomorrow across the district. Sharing information in this regard, District Vaccination Officer Dr. Seema Garg said that a special pentavalent vaccination campaign will be run from December 23 to December 31 in the entire district.
During this, vaccination sessions will be organized in high-risk areas such as slums, brick kilns and construction sites. In this campaign, special focus will be on the vaccination of children deprived of complete vaccination, left out and drop out. Dr. Seema said while talking that complete vaccination is very important for the overall development of the child. Which protects children from 11 deadly diseases. He appealed to the parents of the children to get their children vaccinated along with the pentavalent vaccine on time.
The department has made complete preparations for this campaign. All vaccines will be available at the session sites. The main objective of this campaign is that vaccination is the right of every child and no child should be deprived of it. Parents should go to the session organized at their nearest health center or special site and get their child vaccinated.
