Garhshankar- Dedicated to the unique martyrdom of Mata Gujjar Kaur Ji and Sahibzaade, all the staff and students of Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College, Garhshankar are chanting Gurbani daily in the college Gurdwara Sahib. During this, Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira and all the staff and students are offering prayers by chanting Sri Japji Sahib, Mool Mantra and Satnam-Waheguru in Gurdwara Sahib every day at the time of opening of the college.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira inspired all the staff and students to take inspiration from the unmatched martyrdom of Mata Gujjar Kaur Ji and Sahibzaade. He said that with the inspiration of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami and Secretary Vidya Engr. Sukhminder Singh, on the occasion of Martyrdom Fortnight, the staff and students in all the colleges and schools of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee are participating in Gurbani Jap daily.
