Rajya Sabha member Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal inaugurates nursery on 96th death anniversary of Sant Baba Harnam Singh Ji

The Rajya Sabha member inaugurated 'Rab Ji Di Nursery' on the occasion of the 96th death anniversary of Sant Baba Harnam Singh Ji in the nearby village of Zian. On this occasion, saplings were distributed to the congregation and seeds were planted in envelopes for new saplings.
Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal, while addressing the gathering, said that to make Punjab greener, farmers must plant heritage saplings in their fields. He suggested that religious institutions should further promote the campaign for environmental conservation so that a clean and pollution-free environment can be established. He congratulated Baba Balraj Singh and Mahant Gagandeep Kaur for the noble work of starting the sapling nursery and appealed to the congregation to cooperate.
Sant Seechewal also inaugurated a blood donation camp organized by Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Charitable Blood Bank. He described blood donation as a great work and said that it can save the lives of needy people. 36 units of blood were collected during the camp.
On this occasion, SDM Sanjeev Sharma, Nirmala Sant Mandal President Sant Santosh Singh Thala, Sant Ajit Singh Nauli, Sant Bhagwan Singh Harkhowal, Mahant Dharminder Singh Judge, Jarnail Singh Garhdiwala, Bikkar Singh Jian etc. were also present.
