Mahilpur I-League football match won by Churchill Brothers Goa

Mahilpur- In the I-League match being played at Mahilpur's Coach Ali Hasan Stadium, a match was played between FC Delhi and Churchill Brothers Goa. Both the teams played brilliantly in this match. In the first half, Churchill Brothers Goa took a lead of two goals. In the second half, Delhi FC changed its playing technique and succeeded in scoring a goal. Thus the match ended with a margin of two-one.

Football Club Delhi has made this stadium its home ground. The club's owner Ranjit Bajaj has given a modern look to this sports stadium and has also announced to start an academy here. Sporting Club President Kulwant Singh Sangha, Zoya Siddiqui DDF, Aditya Ground Advisor, Amit Sabharwal Axion, Harpreet Kaur Rozi Director, SP Shivinderjit Singh Bains, Pradeep Dogra, Roshanjit Singh Panam, Dr. Parampreet Rao Kandowal, Lieutenant Arshdeep Singh, Chanchal Singh Bains, Principal Gura Das, Master Baninder Singh and sports writer Baljinder Mann etc. Club administrators included coaches Asim Hasan, Harmanjot Singh.
Khabra, Sumit and David played a special role in conducting the I-League competitions in a brilliant manner. On this occasion, Club President Kulwant Singh Sangha and District Football Association Secretary Harnand Singh Khabra honoured famous footballers Manjinder Singh, Hardeep Singh Saini, Amrik Singh Mann, Pradeep Dogra, Harjinder Singh, Yashpal Jassi, Madan Lal Maddo. Speaking on the occasion, Baljinder Mann mentioned the glorious football history of Mahilpur and said that these grounds have produced many football players like two Arjuna Awardees Jarnail Singh and Gurdev Singh Gill.
To maintain the glory and honour of the old times, I-League is being organised in these grounds. For which the whole area is indebted to Ranjit Bajaj. Now the day is not far when football generals will be born from here again.
Apart from about 10 thousand football lovers, representatives of sports clubs, coaches, school heads, children, youth and elders were present. Principal Sukhinder Singh Minhas, BS Bagla, Arvinder Singh Haveli, Satpal Sangha Canadian, Tanveer Mann, Thakur Karan Mehta, Jharman Singh Tarlochan Singh Sandhu, Harbhajan Singh, Harjinder Singh, Raju Chandigarh, Harveer Mann, Jamsher Singh Tambar, Taqdeer Singh, Hardayal Singh etc. are notable among those who love, respect and promote the game.
