Nawanshahr: District Magistrate, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Rajesh Dhiman has issued orders in exercise of powers vested in him under Section 163 of the Indian Citizen Safety Code, 2023; that during the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test-2024 to be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 10 am to 5 pm; no unauthorized person shall be allowed to enter within 100 meters of the examination centers and nodal centers to prevent any untoward incident. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and District Education Officer (Secondary), Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar will be responsible for the implementation of these orders. This order will remain in force for one day on December 1, 2024.
The orders issued state that the Chairman Punjab School Education Board has written through his semi-official letter. The Punjab Government is conducting the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test-2024 on 1st December 2024 (Sunday) from 10 am to 5 pm in various examination centers of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
Which include Government Senior Secondary Smart School Langroa, Government Senior Secondary School Kahma, Doaba Arya Senior Secondary School Nawanshahr, Dr. Asa Nand Arya Model Senior Secondary School Rahon Road Nawanshahr, Doaba Sikh National Senior Secondary School Nawanshahr and JSFH Khalsa Senior Secondary School Nawanshahr.
For the successful conduct of this examination, prohibitory orders under Section 163 must be issued around the examination centers and nodal centers, so that any untoward incident can be prevented.
