Rajpura, November 27 – Rajpura police have arrested three thieves who were committing thefts in the city and nearby villages.

According to the information received, the police were informed by the people of village Faridpur Gujra that three suspicious persons were roaming in their village. Their movements showed that they were preparing for some incident. Acting on this information, the Sadar police arrested the three persons.
During interrogation, two stolen motorcycles and an open transformer were recovered from the possession of these persons. They have been identified as Dev Raj resident of Peer Colony Rajpura, Harvinder Singh Harry resident of New Officer Colony Rajpura and Sumit Kumar resident of village Bhateri.
The police have registered a case against them under sections 303(2) and 317(2) of the BNS. According to the police, they will be produced in court and remanded. Further inquiries will be conducted to determine what incidents were committed by them.
