Patiala, November 5 - here today Gymnastics and Kurash competitions of the 68th Inter-District School Games have started. In under 17 girls competitions Jasmin Kaur won bronze medal in 40 kg weight category, Virak won bronze medal in 48 kg weight category, Vasika won gold medal in 52 kg weight category, Isha Barala won silver medal in 57 kg weight category. Medal, Noor Kaur won the gold medal in the over 63 kg weight category. In the under-17 boys competitions, Chetan Walia won the gold medal in the 66 kg weight category, Rajwan Pratap Singh won the gold medal in the 73 kg weight category. Ajit Pal Singh Sports Committee Member Punjab as Chief Guest encouraged the players and blessed them. On the occasion of the prize distribution ceremony, Dr. Daljit Singh Sports Coordinator and District Tournament Committee Secretary Charanjit Singh Bhullar awarded medals to the players.
