
Department of Youth Services Punjab organized a 7 day camp at Parul University Vadodara Gujarat under Youth Exchange Program.
Mohali - Youth Services Department Punjab organized a 7-day camp at Parul University Vadodara Gujarat under Youth Exchange Program. In which youth from different organizations, youth clubs and educational institutions from all over Punjab participated. In this camp, displaying the culture of Punjab, the participants performed Gidha, Bhangra, Malvai Gidha, folk dance, folk song, etc. and music and garba workshops were also organized in which the participants got to learn a lot of new things.

During the camp, the students were also given a tour of various historical and religious places in Gujarat and got an opportunity to know the culture of Gujarat. On this occasion, a music workshop was organized with the support of Mr. Gurpreet Singh GP, Department of Music, Diet Fatehgarh Sahib and Mr. Abhishek Ji, Department of Music, Parul University, in which education was given about different types of music and the students performed folk songs of their respective regions. Provided cultural exchange which was very good.
In the garba workshop organized by the dance department of the university, there was an opportunity to learn Garba, a folk dance of Gujarat, which was a new experience. Special thanks to Mr. Lomesh ji and Mr. Daniel ji who got the opportunity to watch the play presented by the students of theater department. On this occasion Mr. Kulwinder Singh ji Deputy Director (Youth Services Department Punjab), Mr. Davinder Singh Lote, Karanveer Singh ji and conducted this program in a proper manner and made it successful.
In this camp, artist and journalist Tilak Raj, president of Youth Services Club Jhanjedi from Mohali, acted as group leader and six volunteers arrived from Mohali. They acted as artists and presented choreography on Sardar Bhagat Singh.
