 Taking stock of this campaign at Government Girls' Senior Secondary Smart School Sohana (Mohali), Dr. Baljit Kaur said that the only agenda of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is to strengthen the education and health infrastructure in Punjab. The introduction of School of Eminence has completely changed the traditional system of imparting education in government schools. Schools have now bridged the disparity gap between government and private schools. The Social Security Minister said that the government schools are showing excellence with the introduction of new ideas in the infrastructure as well as the level of learning.
 After meeting talented students of the school Hansika Mehra (10+1 non-medical), Shelza of 10+2 non-medical, Niharika of 10th standard and old students of the school Anu, Amandeep Kaur, Akashdeep Kaur and the parents of the students studying there. Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that the feedback given by students, former students and parents shows that there has been a major improvement in the education system in Punjab during the current government.
 He said that the Bhagwant Mann government was determined to bridge the gap between government and private schools, if there was any, and today this change is visible.
 Earlier, while talking to Hansika Mehra, he was amazed that this girl has already received NMMS, PSPTST, E&Y and Vigyan Seva scholarship and also has full creativity in writing. .
 Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that the Bhagwant Mann government is giving equal opportunities to all sections of the society, especially the poor, to rise in life by providing free education in government schools.
 He said that Mega PTA Drive has provided a big platform for parents to get feedback about their children to improve their future. He expressed happiness over the feedback received from parents and students about the teachers of the school and the infrastructure available there.
 Earlier he visited food stalls organized by students of different classes and tasted the products prepared for this special day. He appreciated the initiative of preparing such dishes and snacks by girls as training for self-employment. He also played the games displayed there showing a friendly disposition with the students.
 District Education Officer Ginni Duggal and Principal Mrs. Himanshu Latava informed the minister about this old school and said that thousands of former students regularly visit this school to pay respect to their alma mater institution.
