Una, October 21 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Monday formally inaugurated the newly established non-residential training center at Guglahad in Gagret block. On this occasion, he interacted with the children and motivated them to move ahead in life. The Deputy Commissioner said that the district administration is fully dedicated towards the bright future of the children, and it is our endeavor to ensure that their happiness and smile remain forever.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts being made by the Education Reform Committee Isapur for the education of the children of migrant laborers. He said that with the cooperation of the District Administration and various voluntary organizations, non-residential training centers have been established with the aim of ensuring the education of migrant children living in slums in Una district. These centers are playing an important role in the educational development of these children and taking them towards a better future.
On this occasion, CV Pathak, Chairman of Education Reform Committee, while highlighting the activities of the committee, said that since the year 2006, the committee has been doing commendable work in the field of providing education to the children of migrant laborers. Also, he informed that the committee has ensured the appointment of 42 teachers for the vacant teacher posts in various schools of the district.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal inspected Swami Vivekananda Library Haroli. He expressed happiness that this library is proving to be very helpful for the students preparing for competitive examinations. Any student can come here and study according to his interest. During this, Education Reform Committee General Secretary Suchha Singh Kang informed about the problems of books, electricity and water in the library. The Deputy Commissioner assured to solve these problems soon.
During this, District Congress Committee President Ranjit Singh Rana, Gugalehad Pradhan Upnish Pal, BDO Gagret Suresh Jaitley and many other dignitaries were present.
