District Una topped in health services.

Una 9 July: District Una has topped in the state in health services. Giving this information, Chief Medical Officer, District Una, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Verma said that 73 health institutions of District Una, Himachal Pradesh were selected for the Kayakalp Award by the state level team.

Giving this information, Chief Medical Officer, District Una, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Verma said that 73 health institutions of District Una, Himachal Pradesh were selected for the Kayakalp Award by the state level team. He said that this selection process was done by the state level selection team on the basis of external assessment. This assessment was done in April-May 2025, in which Regional Hospital Una was selected for the Kayakalp Award under Category-1 across the state, for which it received a prize money of Rs 3 lakh.
Dr. Sanjeev said that under Category-2, 15 health institutions across the state were given the Kayakalp Award, out of which 9 health institutions were from District Una only. District Una has got the first, second and third positions in this category. In this, Civil Hospital Haroli was given a prize money of 7 lakh rupees for coming first at the state level. In the same series, Community Health Center Dulehad got the second prize and Civil Hospital Amb got the third prize. For which they were rewarded with 5 lakh rupees each. Apart from this, Civil Hospital Chintpurni, Civil Hospital Gagret, Civil Hospital Bangana, Community Health Center Dhusara, Bhadasili and Daulatpur Chowk were given a sum of one lakh rupees each.
 Under Category-3, 18 Primary Health Centres of Una district were selected, out of which Primary Health Centre Raipur Maidan received the first prize of Rs 2 lakh and the remaining 17 Primary Health Centres including Bathri, Khadd, Palakwah, Badhera Kangar, Panjawar, Badhera Rajputan, Amlehad, Lathiani, Sohari Takoli, Akrot, Chakkasaraye, Churudu, Dharamshala Mahanta, Shivpur Mubarikpur, Basal, Basoli and Dehlan received prize money of Rs 50,000 each.
Under Category-4, 45 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs of Una district received Kayakalp Award. Out of which Ayushman Arogya Mandir Jhudowal received the first prize of Rs one lakh, Ayushman Arogya Mandir Dhundhla first runner-up received Rs 50,000, Ayushman Arogya Mandir Panoh second runner-up received Rs 35,000 as prize. While the remaining 42 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs were awarded with an amount of Rs 25,000 each.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr Sanjeev Kumar Verma, while giving credit for this achievement to Medical Superintendent Dr Sanjay Mankotia, District Health Officer Dr Sukhdeep Singh, District Consultant Dr Raman Sandal, all Block Medical Officers, Medical Officers, Community Health Officers and employees, congratulated them and said that due to the collective efforts of all the officers and employees associated with the medical sector of the district, the success of Una district has set an example today.

Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal congratulated the Chief Medical Officer and all the doctors, paramedical staff and other employees associated with the health service sector for this achievement of the district in the field of health.
