Mahilpur: In the 30th Sahitya Srujan Competition organized by Sur Sangam Educational Trust Mahilpur, Arshpreet Kaur daughter of Jagdish Kumar Ankur Public School Mahilpur, Prabhansh Singh son of Gurdeep Singh Sahibzada Ajit Singh Public School Ladhewal and Deepninder Kaur daughter of Sukhninder Singh King Edward Public School Mahilpur won the original essay writing competition.
Jasleen Kaur daughter of Jaswinder Singh Doaba Public School, Dohalron, Arshdeep Kaur daughter of Karamjit Singh Government Secondary School Rampur Jhanjhowal and Hirde Jot Kaur daughter of Surinder Singh King Edward Public School Mahilpur got the first place in story writing. In the poetry competition, Kanchan Sandhu daughter of Jaswant Singh Government Secondary School Rampur Jhanjhowal won by defeating Tarannum Raju daughter of Teja Singh King Edward Public School Mahilpur and Tamanna daughter of Prem Chand Government High School Kalewal Gatan.
In the painting competition, Diksha, daughter of Malkit Singh, was successful in defeating Amanpreet Kaur, daughter of Mangat Ram and Armaan, son of Teja Singh.
