3-day global conference on heart care from tomorrow

CHANDIGARH- 112 eminent speakers from 25 countries, including top cardiologists, cardiac and thoracic surgeons and doctors from across the country, will participate in the three-day 15th annual Cardiomersen Global Conference 2025 here from June 5.

Cardiomersen was founded in 2011 with an aim to spread awareness about comprehensive management of heart diseases.
This year's conference is being organised on a hybrid model in which foreign participants will gather in Rome while Indian experts will join online from Chandigarh. All the Indian experts will also come together on June 6 at a hotel here to discuss the latest heart care updates.
Dr Deepak Puri, Founder Chairman, CardioMorsion and Senior Director, CTVS at Max Hospital, Mohali said that the 15th conference will focus on an integrated approach to comprehensive cardiac care with insightful sessions, expert discussions and collaborative exchange between experts from across the globe, organised under the theme of ‘Clinical Opportunities’.
He said that the conference will also provide a comprehensive platform for the latest advancements and innovations in the management of Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD).
On June 6, an award-winning short film “Rakhiye Dil Ka Khyal Dil Se” made by Dr. Deepak Puri and his CardioMorsion team will also be released here. The film has been awarded the Best Director Award at the Indies Film Festival and the Appreciation Award at the Swastik Film Festival. The film highlights why young people are dying due to sudden cardiac arrest.
