Chandigarh, October 7:- An awareness campaign against superstitions was successfully launched during a special program organized at Chandigarh Press Club. Under this campaign, myths related to black color and curse were exposed. This awareness campaign was launched by tweeting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Well-known social reformer and thinker Prashant Verma refuted the myths related to black color and other superstitions through a video series during the program. This is the world's first video series which has been created with the aim of eliminating negativity and misconceptions related to curse based on facts and research.
The audience and media personnel present at the program appreciated this effort and considered it an important step towards eliminating superstitions prevalent in the society.
This campaign gave the message of promoting scientific approach and rationality in the society, he said that before considering black colour as inauspicious, we should consider that the colour of the pupils of human eyes is also black, the colour of hair is also black and hair is located at the top of the human body.
