Patiala- As per the instructions of District Education Officer Mr. Sanjeev Sharma ji, today in Government Senior Secondary Smart School Civil Line Patiala, under the leadership of Principal Seema Uppal ji, with the cooperation of Gyan Jyoti Education Society Patiala, saplings were planted in the school and given to the students to plant.
Principal Seema Uppal said that to save the environment, every student should plant 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' in the name of his mother on his birthday "Har Manush Laaye Do Rukh" and should also take care of it. She described the environment as very important for human life and inspired to plant as many plants/trees as possible to protect nature.
Mr. Kaka Ram Verma ji said that we should plant as many trees as possible for the bright future of our children. Upkar Singh said that it is important to plant trees and take care of them, only then there is benefit in planting trees. Shri Ram Lal, Navjot Kaur, Satwant Kaur, Monika Sharma and group staff were present on the occasion.
