Hoshiarpur - "World Tourism Day" was celebrated at Nara Forest Rest House with the joint efforts of District Administration, Forest and Wildlife Protection Department, Hoshiarpur and Punjab Tourism Department. This program was organized by Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, Hoshiarpur's guidelines and forest department. In which CCF Dr. Sanjiv Tiwari and Nalin Yadav were present as chief guests.
On this occasion, Dr. Amandeep Singh, founder of the mission, presented the unique aspect of Punjab tourism by organizing night camping in Nara forest for nature lovers. In which 42 fellow nature lovers participated. Night camping, sitting around the camp fire and trying to reconnect with the forest and wildlife through nature poetry, eating in the lap of nature, morning walks, listening to the lovely sounds of birds and nature meditation are very memorable for all. Moments passed.
On this occasion RO Jatinder Rana, AYUSH, BO Jasveer Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Tarsem Singh Mandyala took special care of all arrangements and security in the forest. On this occasion, environmentalist Man Gogia, Harinder Singh from Prithvi Welfare, Professor Dr. Meenakshi Menon, Naib Tehsildar Jasveer Singh, Sukhwinder Singh and owner of Upstate Varinder Singh Huron etc. were present.
