Hoshiarpur - Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that people should adopt a healthy lifestyle by taking the benefit of CM's Yogashala, the best program of the Punjab government. He said that it is an initiative of the Punjab government to provide free education to the citizens of the state. Under this plan, a team of certified yoga teachers has been established in Punjab, so that yoga can be brought to the doorsteps and it can be converted into a people's movement by providing yoga teachers to the public.
He said that 120 yoga classes are being conducted by 22 yoga trainers in Hoshiarpur city, in which more than 9000 people are learning yoga daily. The Deputy Commissioner said that there should be a group of 25 citizens to take the eligible classes and one can benefit from this by making a missed call on the telephone number 76694-00500 to join the programme. He said that free yoga training is being given to people at the places chosen by them like parks, public places through CM's Yogashala. He said that the government has appointed yoga trainers for this, who are going to different constituencies of Hoshiarpur and making people aware about the education of yoga.
