The story of a person who has nothing in his hands, who rises from a hut with hard work and dedication and learns the technical techniques of flying planes safely, becomes a source of inspiration for many. The hero of this story is Babli Rana of village Chabbewal, district Hoshiarpur. Who spent his childhood in extreme poverty and continued his journey of life by staying hungry and naked.
Babli faced difficulties since childhood. Going to school without a school uniform and barefoot was no less than climbing a mountain for him. He would gain the power of knowledge by wearing tattered clothes and on an empty stomach. But the only dream in his eyes was to end his poverty by studying. At night, he would study under the light of a candle, sometimes burning papers and studying in its light.
Although there was no electricity at home, the light of hope in his mind never went out. When the supervisor gave him a pen while giving the tenth board examination at Government Senior Secondary School, Jandoli, his life took a turn. In fact, he did not even have a pen to write with. He would stay awake at night and study and really put in blood and sweat.
After getting his degree, he got a job as an assistant engineer in Reliance Industries (Gujarat) and also got an offer from Siemens (Germany).
