Kavi Darbar of children's writers became memorable under the patronage of Sukhi Baath

Gurdaspur- Before creating literature, it is very important for us to become readers of healthy and interesting literature. These views were expressed by Baljinder Mann, editor of Nikkiyaan Karumbalan, while addressing children's writers. He appreciated the work of the "Naiyaan Kalaman Nai Udaan" project being run by Mr. Sukhi Baath, founder of Punjab Bhawan Surrey, and further said that mother tongue Punjabi is being promoted and spread through these efforts.

District President Dr. Satinder Kaur Kahlon, while welcoming them, said that the "Naiyaan Kalaman Nai Udaan" project has been running successfully since last year under the guidance of Mr. Sukhi Baath, founder of Punjab Bhawan Surrey Canada. Under this, so far 40 books written by children of different districts have been dedicated to the public and more books are being prepared.
An online Kavi Darbar dedicated to Sahibzadas was organized by the children of Gurdaspur district under the leadership of Satinder Kaur Kahlon. The chief guest was Baljinder Mann, a famous author, editor, publisher and Shiromani Children's Literature writer. In which 24 children from different schools participated and recited their poems. Apart from this, a large number of children and guide teachers were also present throughout the time.
Addressing the children, Baljinder Mann said that before creating literature, we should become readers of healthy and interesting literature. When we study different types of books, new ideas will arise within us. These ideas will become the subject of our new and unique creation. By reading books, we become wise at an early age because the experiences we get from them become a part of our life.
"Naiyaan Kalamaan Nai Udaan" Administrators and teachers are requested to provide as many books as possible to the children according to their interest. These efforts being made by all of you are making a significant contribution in the promotion of the mother tongue. Punjabi lovers have great expectations from this project.
Project in-charge Omkar Singh Teje thanked the chief guest, teachers and participating children. Mr. Sukhi Baath Ji participated in the function with great enthusiasm and the entire Kavi Darbar listened to it. He encouraged the children by sharing his valuable thoughts. Kavi Darbar left an indelible mark with the support of team members Ranjit Kaur Bajwa, Navjot Kaur Bajwa, Kamaljit Kaur, Gagandeep Singh and Sukhwinder Kaur.
