Nawanshahr - Department of Languages, Punjab, is striving to provide good literature at low cost to the readers. It is a matter of happiness for the book lovers that the book sale center at the Nawanshahr office of the Language Department was inaugurated by the famous storyteller Ajmer Sidhu. Speaking on this occasion, the famous storyteller Ajmer Sidhu said that the book is the true friend of man and it works as a way to get out of every difficulty.
We all should keep as many books as possible in our home so that our younger generation can also start reading books. Lecturer Balveer Kumar said that books have great importance in human life. Although man has made great progress in the age of technology, still there is no substitute for a book. Famous Gazalgo Kulwinder Kulla said that by reading books, where human thinking develops, it also helps in making human thinking positive. Master Keval Ram said that books are the companions of man's sorrows and happiness. He said that we should give books as gifts to our relatives, friends and children on special days.
Finally, District Language Officer Sandeep Singh said that the language department has made many religious, historical and literary books available at very low cost to connect the readers with books.
