Una, February 1- Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal on Saturday inspected the reconstruction work of houses completely damaged during the monsoon disaster-2023. During this, he took stock of the reconstruction work of seven houses in Takarla, Tiyai and Mubarikpur under subdivision Amb. 
The Deputy Commissioner said that the administration is fully committed to provide all possible assistance to the disaster affected families. He directed the officials to complete the construction work within the stipulated time frame and with high quality so that the affected families can live a safe life in their new houses as soon as possible.
Let us tell you, the state government has provided financial assistance of Rs 7 lakh each to each affected family for the reconstruction of 55 houses completely damaged in the disaster 2023 in Una district. This financial assistance amount has been given under the special relief package of Rs 4500 crore announced by the state government for the rehabilitation of the disaster affected. Earlier, the affected families whose houses were damaged in the disaster were provided financial assistance of up to Rs 1.5 lakh for reconstruction work, but the present government had increased it to Rs 7 lakh.
During this, Revenue Officer Ajay Kumar and Tehsildar Prem Lal Dhiman were also present.
