In a statement issued here, she said that the parties that call themselves pro-Punjab keep criticizing Mr. Modi and the BJP just for the sake of doing politics.
She said that the AAP government should tell where the Rs 12,000 crore funds given by the Central government under the DRF have been used, while the flood-affected people could have been rehabilitated with Rs 12,000 crore now.
She said that instead of thanking the Central government, the AAP leaders are doing narrow politics. She said that the Punjab government is not telling what Prime Minister Modi said. He said that the Prime Minister has said that the Centre will rebuild the damaged houses of the people under the PM Awas Yojana.
National highways and schools will be rebuilt, kits for animal husbandry will be distributed, boreholes filled with mud or washed away will be rebuilt under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana, government schools will get assistance under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan and special teams will be sent by the Centre to inspect the damage in the coming days.
