Special awareness campaign from September 12 to promote Scheduled Caste welfare schemes in Una.

Una, September 10- A state-wide publicity campaign is being run regarding the Scheduled Caste welfare schemes of the Himachal government. In this sequence, this special campaign will start from September 12 in Una district. Under the campaign, the drama troupes associated with the Information and Public Relations Department will inform the people about the government welfare schemes and the process of getting their benefits through songs, music and street plays. Its purpose is to directly convey the information of the schemes to the people and increase social awareness.

In this sequence, this special campaign will start from September 12 in Una district. Director of Information and Public Relations Department Rajiv Kumar said that this campaign will be organized in two phases in Una district. Programs will be held in 20 Scheduled Caste dominated villages of the district, in which 4 programs will be organized in each assembly constituency. Special attention will also be given to de-addiction and social awareness in the campaign.

He told that in the first phase, awareness programs will be organized by RK Kalamanch Chintapurni from 12 September to 18 September, in which government policies, programs and various public welfare schemes for the welfare of scheduled castes will be promoted through songs, music and street plays. He told that awareness programs will be organized in Godri Sidh and Jwar village of Amb on 12 September, Ladoli and Maidi Khas on 15 September, Pirthipur Nichla and Chalet Apparla of Gagret on 16 September, Chowki and Dhawali on 17 September and Tyaar and Boul of Bangana on 18 September.

While, awareness programs will be organized by Purvi Kalamanch Jalgran Tabba from 6 to 10 October in the second phase. In this, on October 6, in Balh-Kholi and Paroiyaan Kalan of Bangana, on 7th in Khadd Khas and Bhadasali Tholian of Haroli, on 8th in Saloh Upper and Dulahad Upperla, on 9th in Dhamandari and Kuriala of Una and on 10th in Bahdala and Sasan, people will be entertained along with being informed about the schemes being run in public interest through songs, music and street plays.
