
The Deputy Speaker inaugurated the development works done at a cost of Rs 41.35 lakh in 5 schools of Garhshankar constituency.
Garhshankar- Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly said that under the 'Punjab Shiksha Kranti' campaign launched by the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, major changes are being made to raise the level of government schools. Under this campaign, the schools of the state are being equipped with modern facilities.

Under this campaign, the schools of the state are being equipped with modern facilities.
While grants of lakhs of rupees are being given for the development works of schools, teachers are also being sent abroad for training, so that modern education can be provided to the children. He was addressing the villagers today on the occasion of inaugurating the development works done at a cost of Rs 41.35 lakh in 5 schools of Garhshankar constituency.
The Deputy Speaker inaugurated classroom and boundary wall at Government Elementary School Kot, science lab, boundary wall and other development works at Government High School Pandori Bait, boundary wall and other development works at Government Elementary School Gujran, classroom at Government Elementary School Dallewal and new classroom and other development works at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Government Elementary School Binewal.
The Deputy Speaker said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, continuous efforts are being made to further improve the level of education in the elementary, middle, high and senior secondary schools of the state. He said that under the 'Punjab Shiksha Kranti' campaign, the image of all the government schools of the state is being completely changed. Students are being motivated to get education according to their interest and ability, so that they can succeed in competitive examinations after class 12 and serve on their desired posts.
The Deputy Speaker said that it is the initiative of the Punjab Government that this is not just a scheme but a concrete step towards the bright future of the children of the state. Government schools are being developed in such a way that they do not lag behind any private school. Today, government schools in Punjab are providing the same environment to students with modern facilities, quality education and trained staff which was earlier limited to private educational institutions. Village Panchayat, School Education Department officials and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
