Mukerian- Teej festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and colorful manner by Modern Group of Colleges with the support of Women's Cell. This function was led by Women's Cell Incharge Mrs. Deepinder Kaur and Campus Director Dr. Vijayata Sharma coordinated this event in a wise manner. During this Teej festival, all the women members of the college enhanced the grandeur of the festival by wearing traditional attire.

The participation of all the women faculty including Mrs. Sarishta Devi and Mrs. Nikita Thakur in the function made this festival even more beautiful and memorable. Folk songs, Giddha and Bhangra were organized on this occasion. Women showed their creative skills by applying mehndi, making rangoli and also presented traditional food.
Dr. Vijaya Sharma said in her address that "Such festivals are a symbol of unity, culture and prosperity. They give women an opportunity to make their identity and bring out their creativity." At the end of the ceremony, Mrs. Deepinder Kaur thanked all the supporting teachers and students and assured to organize such ceremonies in the future.
College Principal Dr. Jatinder Kumar, Head of Department Mechanical Engineering Dr. Ranjit Singh, Associate Dean Sukhjinder Singh, Director Admission Parvinder Singh explained the importance of the Teej festival and thanked all the teachers and students and encouraged everyone to celebrate such festivals in the future.
