
On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Deputy Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha presented a cheque of Rs. 2 lakh to 'Kali Mata Temple'.
Garhsankar/Hoshiarpur 16 August- Yesterday, on the occasion of Shri Ram Navami, at Kali Mata Temple, village Rampur Bilrao, the foundation stone of the main gate and four walls of the temple was laid by Deputy Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Sardar Jai Krishan Singh Raudi from Garhsankar and he also promised to give an amount of Rs. 2 lakh for the temple of the village.

The Deputy Speaker presented a cheque of Rs. 2 lakh for social welfare work on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami and he congratulated the villagers.
Speaking on this occasion, Pandit Ved Prakash, a senior member of the temple committee, said that the Deputy Speaker has given a huge gift to our temple. Whenever we request him for any kind of work of the temple, he always comes forward and donates money for the temple. Finally, the committee members specially thanked the Deputy Speaker from the Punjab Legislative Assembly.
On this occasion, President Ravi Raj Khanna, Pandit Ved Prakash, Vikash Khanna, Bindu Chaudhary, Dr. Shambhu Rana, Davinder Dutta, Kulwinder Mistry, Rajiv Khanna, Gopal Sandal, Chinda Painter, Narinder Mistry, Jagga Chaudhary, Dimple Rana, Shiv Rana, Mukesh Chaudhary, Sarpanch Khemraj (Shambhu), Jassi, Bobby, Sunny, Rohit, Bharat Pandit, Keshav Rana, Inderjit Rana, Anupam Parashar, Bindu Rana and many others were present on this occasion.
