Non-Faculty Staff of APC, PGIMER, Chandigarh Extend Support to Flood Victims of Punjab

10.09.2025, Chandigarh:- In view of the devastating floods that have severely affected large parts of Punjab, causing extensive damage to property and loss of lives, the non-faculty staff members of the Advanced Pediatrics Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh, have come forward with a gesture of solidarity and compassion.

10.09.2025, Chandigarh:- In view of the devastating floods that have severely affected large parts of Punjab, causing extensive damage to property and loss of lives, the non-faculty staff members of the Advanced Pediatrics Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh, have come forward with a gesture of solidarity and compassion.
Moved by the plight of the people of Punjab, staff members including Administrative Staff, Laboratory Technicians, Pharmacists, Nursing Staff, senior officers, and other officials of APC voluntarily contributed towards a relief fund. With their collective efforts, an amount of Rs.55,000/- (Rupees Fifty-Five Thousand only) has been raised.
The entire amount has today been donated to the Punjab State Branch of the Indian Red Cross Society to support ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts for the flood-affected victims.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Arun Bansal, Administrative Incharge of the Advanced Pediatrics Centre, PGIMER, commended the noble initiative of the staff and emphasized that such contributions, though modest, reflect the spirit of empathy and social responsibility. 
The Staff of Advanced Pediatrics Centre stands in solidarity with the people of Punjab during this time of crisis and hopes that this humble contribution will provide some relief to the affected families.
