Complete the development works in the villages of PM Adarsh ??Gram Yojana at a fast pace: ADC Mahendra Pal Gurjar.

Una, September 9- Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mahendra Pal Gurjar has given instructions to complete the development works going on in the selected villages of Una district under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh ??Gram Yojana (PMAGY) at a fast pace. He was presiding over the review meeting held in the DRDA meeting room on Tuesday.

Una, September 9- Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mahendra Pal Gurjar has given instructions to complete the development works going on in the selected villages of Una district under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh ??Gram Yojana (PMAGY) at a fast pace. He was presiding over the review meeting held in the DRDA meeting room on Tuesday.
The ADC said that timely and transparent use of the funds sanctioned under the Gram Vikas Yojana should be ensured and the utilization certificates should be submitted soon. He said that the next installment will be released only after the certificates are submitted.

*Pay special attention to library construction*
Mr Gurjar said that along with other basic development works, special attention should be paid to the establishment of modern libraries in the villages. Such libraries should be built where along with general knowledge-science books, appropriate resources are also available for the preparation of competitive examinations.

*23 villages selected in the first phase, 13 in the second*
He informed that 23 villages of the district are included in the first phase of the scheme, for which Rs 3 crore 99 lakh 20 thousand have been provided. Out of this, Rs 2 crore 42 lakh 67 thousand 406 have been spent. He gave instructions to make proper use of the remaining amount soon.
13 villages have been included in the second phase. He asked to submit their Gram Vikas Yojanas soon, so that work can start there too at a fast pace.

The 23 selected villages of the first phase of PMAGY in Una district include Gagret Upper, Godri Siddh, Basoli Upper, Kangroohi, Ladoli, Kailashnagar, Kungarath, Khadd Khas, Dulahad, Sasan, Chatehad Buhal, Dabali, Kharoh, Paroiyaan Kalan, Boul, Moh Khas, Tyar, Pansai, Sakohan, Chowki, Jol, Saloi and Batuhi.

*13 selected villages of the second phase*
At the same time, 13 villages of the district have been selected in the second phase of the scheme, which include Bahdala, Bhadasali Tholian, Chalet Upper, Dangoh Khas, Dhamandri, Ghanghret, Gondpur Banehra Upper, Jakhera, Kuneran Lower, Kuriyala, Maidi Khas, Pirthipur Lower and Saloh Upper.

*Priority to dispute-free works*
The ADC said that in the Gram Vikas Yojana, such works should be given priority which do not have any kind of dispute, so that the pace of development is not affected. He also gave instructions to upload the details of the completed works along with photos on the PMAGY portal.

District Welfare Officer Awas Pandit, Agriculture Deputy Director Kulbhushan Dhiman, Horticulture Deputy Director KK Bhardwaj, District Food and Supply Controller Rajiv Sharma, Block Development Officer Amb, Haroli, Gagret and Bangana, concerned Gram Panchayat Pradhan, Secretary and officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
