Chandigarh, September 9 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, while reviewing the preparations in the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple premises before Ashwin Navratri, directed the concerned officials to construct 3 large air-conditioned Bhandara halls for the convenience of devotees, in which at least 1500 devotees can sit together in one hall and take prasad.

Chandigarh, September 9 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, while reviewing the preparations in the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple premises before Ashwin Navratri, directed the concerned officials to construct 3 large air-conditioned Bhandara halls for the convenience of devotees, in which at least 1500 devotees can sit together in one hall and take prasad. Apart from this, a state-of-the-art kitchen should also be arranged and special care should be taken for cleanliness.
The Chief Minister, who is also the Chairman of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, was presiding over the 22nd meeting of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, Panchkula here today. Urban Local Government Minister Shri Vipul Goyal, Kalka MLA Smt. Shakti Rani Sharma and other members of the board were also present in the meeting.
Shri Naib Singh Saini said that till the construction of the Bhandara Hall, a temporary hangar should be set up as an alternative arrangement for the upcoming Navratri and a large-scale Bhandara should be ensured.
A plan should be made to start bus service for religious places in Panchkula to encourage pilgrimage
The Chief Minister, while giving instructions, said that a plan should be made to start bus service connecting places like Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Mata Temple, Kali Mata Temple, Morni, Vadda Trilokpur, Nada Sahib etc. to encourage pilgrimage. This will give the devotees an opportunity to visit various religious places in Panchkula district. He, while reviewing the construction of the lotus-shaped building in the Kali Mata Temple, said that this work should be completed on time.
Shri Naib Singh Saini, while reviewing the booths constructed by Haryana Urban Development Authority (HSVP) in Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple premises, directed the officials to survey the unused and dilapidated booths and consider the possibility of removing them. He said that keeping in mind the master plan of the temple, this place should be used by HSVP for commercial activities as per the policy.
It was decided in the meeting that the temple premises should be beautified under the master plan for the renovation of Shri Mata Mansa Devi shrine and the master plan and if there is any encroachment, it should be removed. Apart from this, instructions were also given to preserve and beautify the murals in the temple premises as well as to beautify Hanuman Vaika.

Special attention should be paid to cleanliness in the temple premises, so that the devotees experience a clean and holy environment
The Chief Minister said that cleanliness should be given top priority at religious places. On the occasion of Navratri, a huge crowd of devotees visit temples, so a special campaign should be launched in the temple premises to ensure complete cleanliness, so that the devotees experience a clean and holy environment.
The Chief Minister also directed that the cleanliness campaign should be carried out more effectively at the temple premises and other religious places during the Seva Pakhwada to be held from September 17 to October 2. During this, the administration, local bodies and voluntary organizations should work together to carry out cleanliness work on a large scale.
