Una, September 11- Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal participated as the chief guest in the World Physiotherapy Day celebrations held at Dr Jagdishwar Kanwar Hospital Una. On this occasion, under the chairmanship of Dr. Shikha, a detailed discussion was held on the contribution and importance of physiotherapy in health services. The main objective of the program was to increase public awareness about the importance of early physiotherapy intervention and its positive impact on long-term health and well-being.
During this, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the health related efforts being made by the doctors and the contribution being made in the overall health improvement of the patients. He said that physiotherapy is not only a means of treatment, but it is also helpful in improving the quality of life.
The Deputy Commissioner urged the general public to give priority to health and seek medical advice whenever needed so that a healthy, capable and active life can be ensured.
On this occasion, doctors, physiotherapists and other health workers present in the program also shared their experiences and gave information on various aspects of physiotherapy.
