When Jarnail Singh was asked about his fitness by the organizers when he was selected in the Indian team, he said that 'Arjan Singh is fit like a horse'. On this occasion, Roshanjit Singh Panam paid tribute to him and said that Arjan Singh, who was born in 1937 in village Bassi Madda in Hoshiarpur district, was currently living in America with his family.
