
Hoshiarpur administration launched a massive fogging campaign in government schools and Anganwadis.
Hoshiarpur- On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, the district administration started a massive fogging campaign giving top priority to the safety of children in schools and Anganwadis. This campaign was led by SDM Hoshiarpur Gursimranjit Kaur, in which volunteers and home guards of Hoshiarpur actively participated.
Hoshiarpur- On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, the district administration started a massive fogging campaign giving top priority to the safety of children in schools and Anganwadis. This campaign was led by SDM Hoshiarpur Gursimranjit Kaur, in which volunteers and home guards of Hoshiarpur actively participated.
Giving information, the SDM said that fogging was done in 31 government schools and Anganwadi centers on Monday and Tuesday. He said that the aim of the administration is to provide protection to students and teachers in schools from mosquito-borne diseases. This process will continue in the coming days as well, so that the environment of educational institutions remains safe and healthy.
The institutions fogged included Government Senior Secondary Schools Chauhal, Khadkan, Ajjowal, Naru Nangal and Chabbewal, Government High Schools Bhikhowal, Gobindpur Khunkhun, Naloian, Adamwal and Ghasipur, Government Elementary Schools Mohindpur, Baghpur, Sautar, Adamwal, Ajjowal, Bhikhowal, Chauhal, Khadkan, Gobindpur Khunkhun, Chak Sadhan, Bassi Kaso, Bassi Maruf and other schools and Anganwadi centres.
Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain appreciated this work and said that the safety and health of the students is our biggest responsibility. The administration will try to ensure that education is conducted in a smooth and safe environment in all the schools of the district.
She said that the selfless service of volunteers and home guards is the biggest strength of this campaign. She said that a safe educational environment for children can be ensured only through the partnership of the administration and the society.
