Nawanshahr - On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh ji, a huge bicycle rally was taken out from ITI Ground Nawanshahr this morning as part of the Revolution Mela being celebrated at Khatkar Kalan. In this rally, MLA Banga Dr. Sukhwinder Sukhi, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman, SSP Dr. Mehtab Singh, MLA Constituency Banga Sukhwinder Sukhi, Constituency In-charge Nawanshahr Lalit Mohan Pathak, Deputy Chairman Punjab Water Resources Management and Development Corporation Kuljit Sarhal, Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Dr. Akshita Gupta, District Revenue Officer Mandeep Singh Mann, District Sports Officer Vandana Chauhan, Good Governance Fellow Asmita Parmar besides a large number of officials, volunteers, students and general public attended. On this occasion, various speakers kept the thought of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and gave the message of creating a drug-free and peaceful society. Starting from ITI Nawanshahr, this cycle rally passed through Garhshankar Road, Saloh Road, Manji Sahib Gurdwara, Chandigarh Road, Nawanshahr and ended at ITI Nawanshahr.
