Mahilpur- A grand football tournament was organized in village Gogro with the aim of promoting sports and motivating the youth. Teams from various villages participated in these tournaments and displayed their sports skills in thrilling matches. MP Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal, who arrived as the chief guest during the tournament organized by Baba Naga Sports Club in village Gogro, distributed prizes to the players.
In this tournament, the Nangal player's team was victorious in the match played between the teams of Mugowal and Nangal players. MP Chabbewal, while encouraging the players of the winning and runner-up teams, said that sports teach discipline, teamwork and self-confidence to the youth. He said that the government is making every possible effort to promote sports and better facilities will be provided to the players in the coming time.
While felicitating the winning team, MP Chabbewal said that sports is not only a means of entertainment, but it is also an effective way to keep the youth away from social evils like drug addiction. He inspired the youth to take interest in sports and bring glory to their region. On this occasion, Sarpanch Surinder Singh, Manjit Singh, Omkar Singh, Chaman Lal, Davinder Kumar and many other dignitaries of village Gogado were present.
Everyone appreciated the efforts of MP Chabbewal and praised his contribution in promoting sports. In the end, MP Chabbewal encouraged the organizers and said that such tournaments should continue to be organized in future as well, so that the youth of the region can hone their talent in sports and earn name at national and international level. He inspired the players to work hard and move towards achieving their goals.
