Patiala, January 31- Patiala Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav today conducted a surprise inspection of the driving track located at Nabha Road here. During this, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the common people who came here to get license and give driving test and also got feedback from them.
On this occasion, Dr. Preeti Yadav directed the Regional Transport Officer Naman Markan to provide driving license services to the people in a transparent and timely manner. She said that there is no place for agents in government offices, so it should also be ensured that no agent comes between people and government offices while getting driving license.
The Deputy Commissioner directed to make proper arrangements for people to sit and wait for their turn on the driving track and said that special attention should be paid to the cleanliness of bathrooms and surroundings along with drinking water for the people in this building. Dr. Preeti Yadav said that since the driving track is a place for people to take tests for driving license, along with getting the necessary repairs done to this building, some other necessary arrangements will also be made here for the convenience of the people.
