
Constituency MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa appealed for the release of 60,000 crore outstanding central funds during the Prime Minister's visit to Punjab.

Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Punjab to visit the flood-affected areas of Punjab. He appealed to the Prime Minister of the country to fulfill the main demands of the Punjab government for his country's Punjab state, which have been put forward before the Prime Minister's visit.

He said that first, considering the situation in Punjab, the Central Government should immediately release 60,000 crore outstanding central funds and also announce a special relief package of 20,000 crore. He said that Punjab has been devastated due to floods, if the Prime Minister can send help to Afghanistan, why not to Punjab?”
He said that Punjab is an integral part of the country. Punjab has worked on the basis of priority in every field, be it protecting the country or martyrdom for the country or producing food grains. Randhawa said that the farmers of Punjab have filled the stomach of the country by exhausting all the water of the land.
Be it paddy, potato, wheat, sunflower cultivation. He said that he expects the Prime Minister to give a special package to Punjab and waive off all the debt of Punjab and show generosity for Punjab.
