Ratia, December 31: Addressing students at Government Secondary School Mirana and Balvatika School Khai in the nearby villages of Mirana and Khai respectively, Ashok Chopra, Advocate and National President of Human Helping Hearts Association, appealed to them, stating that our Ratia region is severely affected by drug addiction, and students can play a crucial role in saving young people from this menace. On the last day of the service week being celebrated by the 'Manav Seva Dil Se' (Human Service from the Heart) organization to mark the birthday of its National President Ashok Chopra, warm sweaters were distributed to 100 students in these two schools.
Addressing the school staff, villagers, and students present, the National President of the organization stated that this organization is playing a vital role in social service activities as well as raising awareness among people about human rights. Members of the organization are conducting extensive public awareness campaigns across India and several other countries, where people are provided with detailed information about their human rights.
The organization continuously strives to provide medical aid camps, free eye check-up camps, programs for environmental protection, and assistance to meritorious students. On this occasion, the National President also administered an oath to the students present to participate in the anti-drug campaign and cooperate with the administration.
The ceremony was attended by school staff, village panchayat representatives, students, parents, and members of the organization. Those present included Amarjeet, Satpal, Praveen Chopra, Krishan Taneja, Krishan Suneja, Govind Verma, Sandeep Jodha, Jagtar Singh, Jeevan Raheja, Deepak Mittal, and others.
