Haryana/Hisar: On Saturday, Ranbir Singh Gangwa, Haryana's Minister for Public Works and Public Health Engineering, inaugurated the Gurudham Park constructed by the Barwala Municipal Council in Ward No. 3. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that the state government is continuously working to develop superior infrastructure in cities and provide citizens with a clean, green, and convenient environment.
He remarked that parks are not merely sources of recreation but also play a vital role in fostering social harmony, environmental conservation, and healthy lifestyles. He urged citizens to actively participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the parks and to contribute to environmental conservation by planting more trees. He himself planted a sapling during the event to convey a message of environmental preservation.
The Cabinet Minister affirmed the state government's commitment to the balanced development of every region. Special emphasis is being placed on expanding parks, roads, drinking water facilities, sewerage systems, and other public amenities in urban areas to ensure citizens have access to better civic facilities.
The event was presided over by Ramesh Batterywala, Chairman of the Barwala Municipal Council. He stated that the Municipal Council is continuously working towards the development and beautification of the area, and that future development projects will continue to prioritize the needs of the citizens. Attendees expressed their happiness over the construction of Gurudham Park, describing it as a useful and welcome initiative for the local residents. The development of the park has provided children, the youth, and the elderly with an excellent public space for walking, exercise, and recreation.
