Chandigarh, February 21 - Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Shyam Singh Rana said that it is very important for us all to participate in realizing the dream of the Prime Minister of the country Shri Narendra Modi and making India a developed nation by 2047. He said that if the private and government sectors work together, then a day will come when India will become a developed nation before 2047.
The Minister was addressing as the chief guest at a function organized at the Government Senior Secondary School in Ghilaur Majri, village Radaur, sub-division of Yamunanagar on Saturday. The Minister also inaugurated step stools, toilets and wall painting for the school children with the amount of Rs 10 lakh provided by a company and also planted saplings in the school complex.
Minister Shyam Singh Rana said that an important festival on the subject of AI was organized in Delhi under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. In the program organized on the subject of AI, a helpline number 155261 has been issued, through which various types of information can be obtained.
He said that studies and sports are complementary to each other, so children should also participate in sports along with studies. If we adopt any one sport as sports custodians, then we definitely get success and interest in that sport also develops in children.
He said that we should use our time and energy properly. Sports are not only the basis of physical and mental development of the youth but also develop discipline, team spirit and a sense of leadership. The state government has formulated a sports policy to promote sports and due to the sports policy, Haryana players win more medals than other states of the country in national and international level sports competitions.
