Una, April 4:- The process of revising voter lists for 43 reconstituted, newly formed, and reorganized Gram Panchayats in Una district has been initiated. In this regard, the District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Una, has released the draft voter lists for all these Panchayats.
**Process for Filing Claims and Objections
It was informed that claims and objections can be submitted before the Revision Officer till April 13. The disposal of these claims and objections will be carried out on April 17. Appeals can be filed before the Appellate Authority till April 24. Subsequently, decisions on the appeals will be made on April 27, followed by the final publication of the voter lists.
**List of Panchayats Block-wise
Under Amb Development Block, the panchayats included are Diyara, Dilwan, Katohar Kalan, Badau, Hamboli, Seri, Chowar, and Kohadchhan.
In Bangana Block, the panchayats include Momanyar, Baul, Thanakalan, Ghughan Kakarana, Mandli, Dohak, Tihra, Tanda, Dhundhla, Dhatol, and Hatli Kesru.
Under Gagret Block, Ambota and Chatehar are included.
In Haroli Sub-Division, the panchayats include Pandoga, Pandoga Nichla, Ispur, Ispur Tanda, Beetan, Jakhewal, Lalri, Lower Lalri, Polian Beeth, Kuthar Beeth, Mallubal, Bathu, and Gurplah Sahib (the division related to Gram Panchayat Bathu is currently under consideration in the Hon’ble High Court).
Additionally, under Una Block, Basal Upper, Thakurdwara, Bahadala Lower, Bahadala Upper, Jankor, Barsada, Dangera, and Tabba are included.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that if any individual has claims or objections regarding the voter lists of the above-mentioned Gram Panchayats, they can submit them at the office of the concerned Block Development Officer. The prescribed forms for filing claims and objections will be available free of cost at the Gram Panchayat offices as well as at the offices of the Block Development Officers.
