Una, November 17 - The Manohar Market to Chalola route on the Basal to Nangal Salangdi road (kilometers 0/000 to 7/100) will remain closed for one month. During this period, traffic will be diverted from the Una-Tikka-Dhamandari road to Nangal Salangdi road and from Kuriala to Nangal Salangdi road.
Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal has issued orders in this regard under Sections 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. He stated that these orders have been issued to ensure the speedy and smooth conduct of road upgrades and construction work.
The Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned officials to notify the public of the road closure and to install advance signage to inform them of the route change.
