Kharar, February 11:- Under the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme, a pilgrim bus was left for Amritsar from village Tior of Kharar Sub-Division on Wednesday.
Giving information in this regard, SDM Kharar Divya P said that the Punjab Government has made complete arrangements for this three-day pilgrimage, under which the transportation, accommodation and food and beverage facilities of the pilgrims have been ensured so that the elderly pilgrims can travel comfortably and safely.
SDM Divya P said that during this yatra, the devotees will visit Sri Darbar Sahib, Durgiana Mandir, Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthal, Jallianwala Bagh and Wagah Border.
She said that under the Chief Minister's Tirath Yatra Scheme, the Punjab government is taking special efforts to make the elderly visit religious places, due to which they are getting spiritual peace and satisfaction.
She further said that the government is giving priority to the welfare and convenience of the elderly through such schemes and such efforts will continue in the future as well.
