Saran, September 16- Police in Bihar's Saran district have detained two persons on the charge of hoisting the moon and star tricolor flag at the place of Ashoka Chakra during Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession. In a statement, Saran Police said that in a video received through social media, a moon and star flag was being hoisted instead of the Ashok Chakra in the tricolor, which is a violation of several laws, including the Indian Flag Act 2002.
Saran Police SP Kumar Ashish said that while taking action in this case, the pick-up vehicle along with the flag has been seized and two persons are being detained and questioned. He said that the search is on for the flag maker.
