Dera Bassi, October 4:- Under the Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme, three buses were flagged off today from the Dera Bassi Assembly constituency to take devotees for darshan at religious places, including Sri Amritsar Sahib and other religious sites.
MLA from the constituency Shri Kuljit Singh Randhawa flagged off two buses from Gulmohar City Extension, GBP Eco Green, Home-1 and Rosewood-2 under Ward No. 7 of Dera Bassi, while one bus was flagged off from village Mukandpur to take devotees for darshan at religious places.
An atmosphere of enthusiasm and devotion for the pilgrimage was witnessed among the devotees on the occasion. Local party leaders and workers, along with residents of the area, were also present.
The devotees thanked the government for providing the facility of pilgrimage to enable them to visit religious places.
