Haroli/Una, March 11 (Rajveer Chopra): A late-night theft occurred at a Verka Booth shop located in the main market of the Tahliwal Industrial Area. According to reports, unknown thieves broke into the shop at around 11:40 pm and stole goods worth approximately one lakh rupees, including cash.
It is being reported that the thieves conducted a recce of the market before committing the crime. Then, when they found an opportunity, they targeted the shop.
As usual, when the shop employee arrived to open the shop in the morning, he noticed the lock was broken. He immediately called the shop owner, Abhishek, and informed him of the theft. Abhishek arrived at the scene, and the police were later informed.
Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene, inspected the scene, and began investigating the case. Police are also reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras to try to trace the thieves.
The incident has caused concern among local residents, who have demanded increased police patrols in the area at night to prevent similar incidents in the future.
