Mohali - Rajwinder Singh Sarao, President, Jasvir Singh Garang, Vice President, and Sanjay Veer, General Secretary of the Residence Welfare Society, Sector 110, TDI City, Mohali, stated that residents of Sectors 110-111, TDI City, have been facing numerous problems for a long time. A massive protest was held in front of the Puda office on December 18, 2024, to resolve these issues.
However, the situation regarding complaints remains the same. Today, hundreds of residents reached the Puda office to seek resolution to their demands and expressed their anger to senior PUDA/GMADA officials.
Leaders stated that the Residence Welfare Society has been filing complaints against the builder and certain Gmada/Puda officials and employees since 2019. However, over the past six years, many officials have come and gone, but no senior official has attempted to resolve the complaints. After such a long time, thanks to some good officials, the file to cancel the partial construction work of this builder reached CA Gmada.
However, CA Gmada has called the builder for a personal hearing again on October 24th to postpone the proceedings on this file. Even though the matter has been heard repeatedly before and the builder has submitted a written response, the officials are still taking no action to resolve the complaints and benefit the builder.
Therefore, today a delegation of residents harassed by these officials met with the newly appointed CA Gmada (Madam Sakshi Sahni). CA Gmada heard the matter very seriously and assured action. People hope that the newly appointed CA Gmada will resolve their problems.
Several other leaders, including A.S. Shekho, M.S. Sharma, Harminder Singh Sohi, Mohit Madan, Arvind Sharma, and others, also addressed the occasion. The leaders also said that if our demands are not resolved soon then a massive protest will be held in front of the PUDA/GMADA office.
