Una, March 20: Under the aegis of Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0, a one-day workshop was organized in the Gagret Nagar Panchayat as part of the Swachh Survekshan campaign, with the objective of ensuring the success of the 'Har Ghar Tak Pahunchega Abhiyan' (Reach Every Household Campaign) in the year 2026. Sanitation workers (*Safai Mitras*) and members of Self-Help Groups participated enthusiastically in this workshop.
During the workshop, Baldev Singh Thakur, Secretary of the Gagret Nagar Panchayat, provided the participants with detailed information regarding the parameters and criteria for Swachh Survekshan 2025-26. Furthermore, members of the Self-Help Groups are currently going door-to-door to assist residents in downloading the 'Swachhata App' (Sanitation App) on their mobile phones, thereby enabling citizens to directly communicate their grievances to the government and ensuring their timely resolution.
He appealed to all residents of the Nagar Panchayat to extend their active cooperation in the Swachh Survekshan initiative. He emphasized that citizens should not only maintain cleanliness within their own homes but also make proper use of the Swachhata App, thereby contributing to making the town clean, healthy, and convenient. He further stated that the objective of the Nagar Panchayat, through this campaign, is to develop the town into a cleaner, healthier, and more modern urban center, equipped with contemporary civic amenities.
Present on this occasion were Rajesh Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, JOA (IT) Manjul Kumar, Arun Kumar, along with other staff members and sanitation workers from the Gagret Nagar Panchayat.
