Chandigarh, November 19- Haryana government is to provide subsidy to farmers for distribution of seeds of barley grain and demonstration plants, plant and soil conservation in 7 districts of Haryana including Panchkula, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Sirsa, Hisar, Jhajjar and Charkhi Dadri under the National Food Security and Nutrition Mission (Coarse Grains) scheme. Farmers who are interested in getting subsidy should click on the website of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department Haryana at https:// agriharyana.gov.in/ and complete the online application process.
While giving information in this regard, a spokesperson of the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department said that farmers can sow their crops and till the crop as per the time. For more information, the Agricultural Development Officer of their area can contact the office of the Block Agriculture Officer/Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer/Deputy Director of Agriculture.
The spokesperson further informed that similarly, under the National Food Security and Nutrition Mission (Wheat) scheme, subsidy is to be given to farmers on the distribution of wheat demonstration plants, seed distribution, plant and soil conservation management in 8 districts of Haryana namely Ambala, Bhiwani, Hisar, Jhajjar, Mewat, Palwal, Charkhi Dadri and Rohtak. Farmers who are interested in getting this subsidy can also apply by visiting the website of the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department Haryana at https:// agriharyana.gov.in/. and clicking on it.
For this crop too, farmers can do it according to the sowing and cropping time. The spokesperson advised that for more information about the subsidy, they can contact the office of the concerned Agricultural Development Officer/Block Agriculture/Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer/Deputy Director of Agriculture of their district.
