Chandigarh, September 1:- Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi said that the Special Component Sub-Plan Formation Bill for Scheduled Caste Welfare is under consideration.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi was responding to a question asked on the third day of the Monsoon Session. He said that the government is running several schemes for the welfare of the Scheduled Caste and their benefits are also being ensured. Mr. Bedi said that 79 percent of the budget allocated for the Scheduled Caste has been spent during the year 2023-24, 78 percent in 2024-25 and 71 percent in 2025-26.
The Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment said that the present government has given plots of 100 square yards to the Scheduled Caste families, while the opposition had only announced it. The present government has implemented this scheme. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, the interests of the Scheduled Castes are protected. The government is working for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes.
