Hansi: Under the guidance of DMC & ADC Lakshit Sarin, the Municipal Council is continuously conducting a special cleanliness drive with the aim of making Hansi city clean, beautiful, and healthy. As part of this initiative, a special cleanup operation was carried out today (Wednesday) in Wards 1, 5, 16, 19, and 24, involving the thorough cleaning of streets, main roads, public spaces, drains, and garbage collection points.
During the drive, sanitation workers removed silt and debris from drains to ensure smooth water drainage. Additionally, a clean environment was ensured by clearing away litter scattered in public areas. The Municipal Council team also ensured arrangements for the scientific and timely disposal of waste.
DMC & ADC Lakshit Sarin stated that maintaining the city's cleanliness is the collective responsibility of every citizen, alongside the administration. He instructed officials to ensure there is no negligence in sanitation operations and to guarantee regular and effective cleaning in every ward. He added that the Municipal Council's goal is to make Hansi one of the cleanest and most beautiful cities in the state.
The Municipal Council appealed to citizens to dispose of waste from homes and commercial establishments only at designated locations, segregate wet and dry waste, avoid littering in public places, and actively participate in the cleanliness drive.
The Municipal Council will continue to conduct special cleanliness drives in various wards of the city in the coming days to ensure superior sanitation standards across all areas and to realize the vision of making Hansi a clean, beautiful, and model city.
